Job Description

Job Title: Agri Sales Executive

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh


Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Agri Sales Advisor to guide farmers and dealers in selecting suitable agricultural inputs, including pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers, and plant growth regulators. The role involves generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical agricultural guidance to improve farm productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell agrochemical and agricultural products to farmers, dealers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide crop-specific recommendations based on pest, disease, and nutrient management requirements.
  • Assist farmers in selecting appropriate products and application methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
  • Collect information on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Maintain daily sales records.
  • Track customer interactions and follow-up activities.
  • Submit periodic sales and market reports to management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
  • Freshers with strong agricultural knowledge or candidates with 1–3 years of agri-input sales experience are encouraged to apply.


Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of crops, pests, diseases, and crop protection products.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to conduct field demonstrations and farmer meetings.
  • Sales negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and mobile reporting tools.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in agrochemicals, seeds, fertilizers, or agricultural inputs.
  • Existing network of farmers, dealers, and distributors will be an advantage.
