Job Description – Collection AssociateJob Title:Collection Associate

Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Collection Associate to manage customer payment follow-ups and ensure timely collection of outstanding dues. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships while achieving collection targets.

• Key Responsibilities:Follow up with customers via phone calls, emails, and messages for pending payments.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and dues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
• Coordinate with the Accounts, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Generate and share payment reminders, statements, and account reconciliations.
• Track overdue accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Escalate critical payment delays or disputes to the concerned manager.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Required Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities.
• Basic understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable, and collection processes.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle customer queries professionally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Qualifications:Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred).
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Email communication.
• Knowledge of Tally, ERP, or accounting software is an added advantage.
• Experience:0–3 years of experience in collections, customer service, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
