Sampling Coordinator (Garment Manufacturing)

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Understand buyer sampling requirements and specifications
• Prioritize sampling orders as per urgency and importance
• Coordinate with design, cutting, and stitching teams
• Ensure timely development of proto, fit, and pre-production samples
• Maintain sampling tracker and updates in ERP/Excel
• Monitor fabric & trims availability for samples
• Follow up for approvals and buyer feedback
• Ensure sample quality before dispatch
• Head and manage sampling department workflow

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment construction (knits & woven)
• Experience in handling proto/fit/PP samples
• Good understanding of measurements and tech packs
• Proficient in Excel & basic ERP systems
• Strong coordination and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple urgent developments

🔹 Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years experience in garment sampling/merchandising
• Experience working with corporate brands/buyers
• Process-oriented and systematic
• Strong follow-up and leadership ability
