Job SummaryThe Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and services required for uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier development, inventory control, and compliance while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables based on production requirements.
• Develop, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships and maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Obtain quotations, compare offers, and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor supplier deliveries to ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA, Accounts, and Logistics for smooth procurement operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and safety stock to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and coordinate replacement of rejected materials.
• Track market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and alternate sourcing.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
