Location - Bhiwandi, Maharashtra


Department - Factory Operations


Reporting To - Director / Management


Employment Type - Full-Time


Compensation - ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month


Experience Required - 5 to 8 Years


About the Role -


We are looking for a hands-on, disciplined, and result-oriented Factory Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate day-to-day factory operations.


The role is responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of Production, Quality Control, Stores, Inventory, Dispatch, Maintenance, and Factory Administration through effective coordination with supervisors and departmental teams.


The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, operational follow-up, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive accountability, improve productivity, maintain discipline, and ensure timely execution of operational activities.



Key Responsibilities


Factory Operations Management


* Monitor and coordinate daily factory operations to ensure smooth workflow across all departments.

* Ensure effective execution of production plans and operational priorities.

* Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

* Coordinate with departmental supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.

* Maintain overall discipline, accountability, and operational efficiency within the factory.


Production Planning & Execution


* Monitor daily production activities against planned targets.

* Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.

* Coordinate with production supervisors to achieve production schedules.

* Track production delays, downtime, and operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce wastage.


Inventory, Stores & Material Management


* Coordinate with Stores and Inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and consumables.

* Monitor inventory movement and material usage.

* Participate in stock verification and reconciliation activities.

* Ensure proper tracking of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory.

* Support inventory accuracy and material control initiatives.


Dispatch & Logistics Coordination


* Monitor daily dispatch planning and execution.

* Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.

* Review pending dispatches and prioritize urgent customer requirements.

* Ensure smooth movement and loading of finished goods.


Quality & Compliance


* Coordinate with Quality Control teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

* Assist in implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

* Support maintenance of ISO documentation and audit requirements.

* Promote housekeeping, safety practices, and 5S implementation across the factory.


Team Leadership & Workforce Management


* Lead and coordinate departmental supervisors and shop-floor teams.

* Conduct daily operational review meetings.

* Monitor attendance, punctuality, and workforce discipline.

* Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.

* Resolve day-to-day operational and manpower-related issues.

* Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


Reporting & Management Coordination


* Prepare and maintain daily operational reports.

* Track production, inventory, dispatch, quality, and manpower performance.

* Provide regular operational updates to management.

* Escalate critical issues requiring management intervention.

Education Requirement


* ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or related disciplines.

* Practical manufacturing experience will be preferred over higher educational qualifications.


Experience


* Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

* Experience handling production teams, workers, supervisors, or shop-floor operations is mandatory.

* Candidates currently working as Production Supervisor, Senior Production Supervisor, Factory Incharge, Operations Executive, Assistant Factory Manager, or similar roles are encouraged to apply.
