Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF). The role requires coordinating with customers, automobile dealerships, Government authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations.

Candidates with prior experience in the automobile industry, vehicle scrapping, transport, dealership operations, logistics, or metal recycling will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations for the procurement and scrapping of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs).
• Coordinate with vehicle owners, dealerships, fleet operators, other Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSFs), and other stakeholders.
• Operate government portals such as Parivahan, DigiELV, Vahan, and other official platforms; manage vehicle documentation, statutory processes, and operational records.
• Follow-up with the Transport Department, Pollution Control Boards, and other government authorities for licences, renewals, inspections, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Research and monitor regulatory updates, industry policies, and operational best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automobile, transport, logistics, dealership operations, transport authorities, vehicle scrapping, or metal recycling.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, email, internet applications, and online portals.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT will be an added advantage.
