Site Civil Engineer

Site Civil Engineer – Basement + Ground Floor Construction

Responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day civil construction activities at site for a Basement + Ground Floor project. Experienced in coordinating manpower, materials, subcontractors, and site activities while ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise excavation, PCC, footing, foundation, RCC, column, beam and slab works.
• Manage basement construction including excavation, dewatering, reinforcement, shuttering and RCC works.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, levels, dimensions and alignment before concrete casting.
• Coordinate concreting activities, including quantity estimation, concrete placement, vibration and curing.
• Supervise brickwork/blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and other finishing works.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and coordinate with consultants/contractors.
• Prepare daily progress reports, material requirements and basic quantity measurements.
• Monitor labour productivity and ensure proper utilization of materials and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain project schedule.
• Ensure construction quality, site safety and proper execution of work as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
• Maintain proper site records, measurements and documentation.
