Join us as a Transformation Manager – Quality Practice Lead

  • You’ll drive enterprise-wide transformation aligned to the bank’s strategic ambitions, shaping One Bank Capabilities (OBC) and customer and colleague journeys
  • You’ll develop and embed frameworks, standards, and templates that accelerate quality and journey maturity across the organisation
  • Using data, AI, and insight, you’ll enable better decisions, stronger risk management, and improved performance outcomes

What you’ll do

As a Transformation Manager – Quality Practice Lead, you’ll lead the enterprise-wide transformation of Quality Engineering and Governance by evolving current practices through AI, Agentic AI, and modernisation initiatives. You’ll drive innovation to establish intelligent, automated, and future-ready quality processes aligned with the bank’s strategic goals and regulatory expectations, while embedding a culture of continuous improvement and risk-aware delivery across business and technology functions.

You’ll partner with senior leadership to shape and steer the direction of quality transformation and capability uplift, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes.

You’ll also:

  • Lead the design and delivery of initiatives to modernise quality engineering through AI and automation
  • Evolve and embed enterprise-wide quality frameworks, standards, and governance aligned to strategic and regulatory expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a culture of quality and risk-aware delivery across teams
  • Own and govern end-to-end test processes, including strategy, data risk, accreditation, and constraints
  • Implement measurement frameworks and provide clear reporting on quality outcomes, transformation progress, and business impact
  • Use data, analytics, and AI-powered insights to strengthen decision-making, risk management, and performance
  • Collaborate with business, technology, audit, and compliance stakeholders to embed quality across customer and colleague journeys
  • Manage and optimise supplier relationships for AI-enabled testing and quality tools, ensuring value realisation
  • Bring in external best practice and emerging trends to continuously enhance quality capabilities
  • Lead the modernisation of quality governance, policy, and audit processes in line with evolving technology landscapes
  • Continuously improve transformation effectiveness by gathering feedback from stakeholders and delivery teams
  • We're offering this role at director level

The skills you’ll need

You’ll bring strong experience leading enterprise-wide transformation, with a track record of modernising quality engineering or testing practices and delivering measurable improvements in customer and colleague outcomes.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Expertise in quality engineering, test governance, and modern testing practices, including automation and AI-driven approaches
  • The ability to design and implement enterprise-wide frameworks, standards, and operating models
  • Strong data and analytical capability, using insight to drive decisions and targeted interventions
  • Proven programme delivery, governance, and change management experience in complex environments
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across business and technology functions
  • Strong strategic thinking, translating complex challenges into clear, practical solutions
  • Experience driving continuous improvement, innovation, and capability uplift across engineering or quality communities
