ORGANISATION

  • Global Supply Chain Engineering Hub  – GSCE Hub, Bangalore

Reports directly to:

  • GSCE Hub – Head

Network & Links 

Internal

  • Regional Logistics Engineering team
  • Material planning, Project Supply Chain leader, Warehouse, ERP team

External

  • Supplier, transport & Logistic partners,
  • Packaging subcontractors, if any

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Design & Engineering

  • Design internal and external packaging using tools such as Catia, PLM4A, Solid works or any equivalent software.
  • Conduct discussions with SML/PME, define delivery types, logistics flows, and drive CFT sign‑off.
  • Develop packaging concepts considering part disposition, quantity, quality requirements, and global standards.
  • Perform load tests, FEA analysis, and ensure compatibility with optimized packaging standards.
  • Coordinate supplier BOM details, specifications sign‑off, and global sourcing integration.
  • Create and implement visual labels, PPE storage plans in compliance with EHS rules
  • Conduct training for operators and warehouse teams

Cross‑Functional Supply Chain Leadership

    • Define and implement supply chain processes aligned with industrial and production requirements.
    • Drive cost‑reduction, process‑improvement, and optimization initiatives driving continuous improvement
