Senior Officer / Assistant Manager - Operations and Plant Financial Controller

Role Summary

The Operations / Plant Controller will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial controlling of manufacturing operations . The role focuses on cost control, product costing, inventory management, CAPEX controlling, and performance reporting, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with MANN+HUMMEL standards.

Main Tasks

• Drive plant cost optimization (materials, labor, overheads, supply chain, inventory, and G&A).
• Manage and roll out standard costing, variance analysis, and product costing in SAP.
• Lead cost savings, VAVE, and cost‑hunting initiatives.
• Control and monitor CAPEX planning, approvals, and budget adherence.
• Oversee inventory levels and improve inventory efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze management reports, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and group guidelines.

Experience

• CA / CMA (or Inter) or degree in Finance / Business Administration.
• 2-5 years as a Plant / Operations Controller in manufacturing (Automotive or Auto Ancillary preferred).
• Strong SAP FICO knowledge: MM/SD exposure is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, cost control, and business partnering skills.
• Fluent in English.
