Sr Engineer Procurement

 R&D Parts Procurement (Prototype / NPI)

• Source low-volume, high-mix components:
  • Electrical: PCBAs, semiconductors, connectors, cable harness
  • Mechanical: CNC parts, sheet metal, plastics, 3D prints
• Handle frequent design revisions and quick re-orders
• Identify quick-turn / development-focused suppliers
• Ensure short lead-time sourcing

2. R&D Equipment & Lab Procurement

• Procure engineering and lab equipment, such as:
  • Test & measurement (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal cameras)
  • Environmental test chambers
  • Assembly tools, jigs, fixtures
• Manage:
  • Technical evaluation with R&D team
  • Vendor comparison (spec vs cost)
  • Installation & commissioning coordination
• Handle AMC / calibration / service contracts

• RFQ & Technical Evaluation
  • Float RFQs with clear:
    • Technical specifications
    • Testing requirements
  • Compare offers on:
    • Performance
    • Compliance
    • Total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Work with R&D to finalize techno-commercial decisions
