Sr Engineer Electrical Sourcing

• Lead sourcing activities for electrical componentssuch as:
  • Switchgear (MCB, MCCB, relays, contactors, etc.)
  • Cable harnesses and wiring assemblies
  • Connectors, terminals, and other electrical parts
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (domestic & international)
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, value engineering, and alternate sourcing
• Develop and implement supplier strategy aligned with business goals
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with:
  • Design / R&D teams for new product development
  • Quality teams for supplier audits and issue resolution
  • Manufacturing for production readiness
• Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance (QCD – Quality, Cost, Delivery)
• Manage RFQs, cost analysis, and benchmarking
• Support localization and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives
