Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We have a new requirement for SOX Automation and are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate should be capable of working as an independent contributor and quickly ramp up to support automation needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for SOX-related testing
• Build and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium
• Develop and execute API automation tests
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance of SOX automation deliverables
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet project timelines

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation (Java/Python preferred)
• Solid experience in API automation (using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar)
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as an independent contributor
