Senior Engineer - Process Intelligence Consultant(Celonis)

Role Summary

The Senior Engineer – Process Intelligence will be a key member of the Global Process Mining Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Celonis-based process mining solutions. This is a hands-on technical role focused on enabling end-to-end process visibility and optimization across any enterprise level process organizations. The role requires strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, PQL and Celonis development, with the ability to transform complex enterprise data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.

Main Tasks

Key Responsibilities: 
• Design, implement, and validate Celonis data models, transformations, & dashboards. 
• Collaborate with process owners and business stakeholders to define and deliver process 
mining use cases. 
• Derive insights from transformed process data, resent findings through data storytelling 
and report value realization. 
• Prioritize Celonis enhancement requests for in-scope processes using agile methodologies. 
• Draft and manage technical documents in Confluence, track requests in Jira. 
• Support ETL operations and partner with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines. 
• Mentor and enable other Process Mining colleagues in technical solutioning. 

Required Technical Skills: 
• Proven hands-on expertise in Celonis (IOM, EMS, PQL, data modeling, visualization). 
• Solid understanding of ERP data structures; experience with SAP is highly preferred. 
• Advanced proficiency in SQL coding, relational databases, and ETL processes. 
• Experience with data visualization tools (Celonis, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud). 
• Experience with continuous improvement frameworks like LEAN \ Six Sigma \ kaizen 
(preferred). 
• Python programming skills (preferred).

Experience: 3 - 7 years of relevant experience

Education: Bachelor's/Master’s in CS, IT
