Senior Associate

Roles & responsibilities

Responsible for managing the end‑to‑end compensation lifecycle for assigned engagements, with a focus on UK individual tax. This includes collecting, validating and mapping compensation data, and preparing modified P11D and NIC calculations while liaising with clients and engagement teams.

 

Manage compensation data process from initial request to final deliverables for allocated clients.
Liaise with corporate client HR/payroll teams to collect complete compensation and benefits data.
Review data for accuracy, completeness and consistency; follow up on anomalies or missing items.
Map compensation data into KPMG’s compensation tools, ensuring correct UK tax and NIC treatment.
Provide regular status updates to engagement teams and escalate issues or delays where needed.
Prepare modified P11D workings and modified Class 1/Class 1A NIC calculations in line with UK rules.
Perform checks and reconciliations (e.g. to payroll, prior year data) to ensure quality of outputs.


 

 

Educational qualifications

Degree from reputable university with excellent academic result, majoring Accounting, Finance or a similar field. 

Work experience

Experience (typically 3–5 years) in UK personal tax, employment tax, global mobility, payroll or a related compensation role.
Experience in a Big 4 or similar professional services environment.
Exposure to modified payrolls, Short Term Business Visitor (STBV) arrangements, and/or PAYE Settlement Agreements.
