Technical Skills Cisco & Juniper Switching & Aruba Wireless Must have: Experience of Data Networking, both in a design and support environment, Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various models of Cisco IOS Switches, Juniper Switches, Juniper Mist, Aruba wireless technology and experience on Cisco router platforms will be added advantage. Must to have: Expert hands on knowledge in enterprise-level switching & networking like knowledge in TCP/IP, Switching & Routing Protocols. Comprehensive understanding of Layer-2 & Layer-3 protocols. Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Etherchannel etc. Good understanding of high availability fundamentals like (HSRP and VRRP), Knowledge of RBAC, dot1x authentication Knowledge on Switch Stacking Wireless Technologies – Both deployment & Operational support in a large environment on Aruba wireless controllers and AP’s, Aruba mobility master, Aruba Airwave. Multivendor Experience – Juniper, Aruba, Cisco , Riverbed Experience in CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters, Proven successful delivery of high-quality, cost-effective infrastructure services in a complex, high-availability environment. Knowledge on Cisco switching ( Cisco 9000, 3850, 2960, Nexus 9000 switches) Knowledge on Juniper Ex series switches ( Ex4300, Ex2200, Ex2300, Ex 4500, Ex5100,Ex9000) & Juniper Mist Knowledge on Aruba Wireless controllers (70xx,72xx, AP 225, AP335, AP 535) , Aruba ClearPass and Aruba Airwave Knowledge on routing technologies with BGP, OSP, MPLS, Cloud WAN, IPsec, Qos Knowledge of Automation technologies like Python, Jason, Django Good to Have Knowledge of BGP, OSPF and IP protocols in an MPLS Environment. WAN Acceleration – Both deployment & Operational support in a large environment Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec and GRE. Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP etc. Proven ability to plan and execute complex workload in a pressurized, dynamic environment on time. Knowledge of other manufacturer’s networking products – Aruba/Juniper/Fortinet. Knowledge of cabling media, industry standards and associated interfaces. Experience of working with Vendors at an Operational Level Soft skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer handling skills and good interpersonal skills Ability to take complete ownership of the tasks High level of initiative and innovative ideas Positive Attitude towards work Ability to work as Team Work independently with minimal assistance Professional Skills Proven ability to manage own workload, priorities & deadlines. Support all activities executed by cross location support teams Proven ability to work with vendors to resolve issue within timelines. Understanding detailed solution design documents & diagrams. Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, excel & Visio is preferred. Effective working relationship with all project managers/Team leads Evidence of drive and the will to succeed Desirable Skills Knowledge of ITIL Industry certifications CCNA / CCNP
