Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong foundation in Project Management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing Java development teams and QA automation processes. This role requires a deep understanding of AI tools such as O365 and GitHub Copilot, along with expertise in drafting Statements of Work (SOW) and cost estimates. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Java development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Oversee QA automation processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Utilize AI tools like O365 and GitHub Copilot to streamline project workflows and improve team productivity.
• Draft and review Statements of Work (SOW) and prepare accurate cost estimates for project proposals.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
• Conduct regular project meetings to review status, address challenges, and celebrate successes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
• Proven experience in leading Java development teams and managing QA automation.
• Familiarity with AI tools, specifically O365 and GitHub Copilot.
• Expertise in drafting SOWs and preparing cost estimates.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
