Job Description
Product Delivery / Project Manager - Vice President
This role is ideal for someone who loves turning ambiguity into action: creating structure, running tight forums, ensuring follow-through, and helping senior leaders make informed decisions; while working closely with Product, Technology, Decision Science, Design, and 2nd Line / control partners to deliver responsibly.
As a Product Delivery / Project Manager within Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Finance AI/ML, you will sit at the center of a high-impact product organization building AI-enabled products for CCB CFO stakeholders. You’ll drive end-to-end governance, delivery execution, and stakeholder alignment so that our AI capabilities move from idea → approved use case → build → launch in a controlled, compliant, and scalable way.
Job Responsibilities
Governance & Controls (end-to-end)
- Own and manage project governance from intake through delivery, including required checkpoints, documentation, and stakeholder approvals.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk, and Controls to coordinate reviews, address questions, and drive timely signoffs.
- Maintain clear decision logs, risk/issue tracking, dependency mapping, and escalation paths so delivery remains audit-ready and predictable.
Product Delivery Operations (cadence, forums, follow-ups)
- Schedule and run recurring delivery ceremonies and stakeholder meetings; publish crisp notes, actions, owners, and due dates.
- Establish consistent routines and artifacts for tracking progress, decisions, and outcomes (e.g., scorecards, dashboards, operating trackers).
Executive-ready communications for Finance leadership
- Gather inputs across teams and convert them into clear, concise materials for Finance senior leadership: status, risks, decisions needed, and narrative on business value.
- Provide executive-level status reporting, tailored to audience and forum, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Jira ownership (Epics / Stories / delivery hygiene)
- Own Jira hygiene end-to-end: creating and maintaining Epics, Stories, prioritization views, delivery dashboards, and reporting.
- Improve team workflows by making Jira the single source of truth for scope, delivery status, and dependencies. (JPM PM roles explicitly call out managing plans/workflows in Jira and improving Jira reporting/processes.)
“Quad” and cross-functional execution
- Coordinate with core delivery partners (Technology, Decision Science, Design, Product, and control partners) to unblock work, align timelines, and ensure readiness for releases.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication across cross-functional stakeholders, helping teams move quickly while staying within governance and risk expectations.
Use case intake, triage, and pipeline management across LOBs
- Serve as a front door for AI/ML demand: gather, triage, and structure use cases coming from various CFO organizations and lines of business.
- Maintain intake logs, prioritization frameworks, and roadmap artifacts that align stakeholder demand with capacity and strategic outcomes. (This aligns with JPM program manager language around intake/triage and maintaining operating artifacts.)
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management, product operations, transformation, or delivery management—preferably in financial services or another regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive work across multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes in a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills with experience producing executive-ready presentations and running senior stakeholder forums.
- Strong command of Agile delivery fundamentals and tools; especially Jira (and ideally Confluence/SharePoint).
- High attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and comfort operating with ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI/ML product delivery or technology governance (even if not hands-on model building).
- Familiarity with concepts like responsible AI, data governance, model lifecycle, or risk/compliance controls in technology delivery (JPM postings commonly highlight AI governance, risk identification/mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal/Compliance/Engineering/Design.)
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/PM certification.
Why join this team
- You’ll help deliver AI products that directly support how CCB Finance leaders run the business—turning high-value needs into real capabilities.
- You’ll sit at the intersection of Product + AI/ML + Governance, building the operating muscle that makes innovation scalable and compliant.
- You’ll work with a broad set of partners across the firm (Finance, Tech, Data Science, Design, and control functions), giving you visibility and influence well beyond a typical PMO role.
