Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and optimize functionality. Continuous monitoring and adaptation are key aspects of the daily workflow to deliver reliable and efficient application services.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations and streamline release management processes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview.
- Experience with configuring and managing packaged or SaaS applications in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release coordination.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration techniques to enhance system interoperability.
- Ability to utilize low-code platforms for customizing and extending application capabilities.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues to maintain system stability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Purview.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
