Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release cycles, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and optimize functionality. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of the applications are essential to provide seamless user experiences and support operational efficiency.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective application configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms and tools to streamline application enhancements.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure system stability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
