Middleware Support Engineer

Middleware (WAS, Tomcat, JBoss)

- Provide L2 support for middleware platforms including WebSphere (WAS), Tomcat, and JBoss - Install, configure, and administer middleware environments across Dev, QA, and Production - Manage and support application deployments (WAR/EAR files) across application servers - Monitor system health, server performance, and availability to meet SLA requirements - Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment, server crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks - Perform log analysis, JVM tuning (heap, threads, GC), and debugging - Support clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations - Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution - Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and environment maintenance activities - Work closely with application, database, OS, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution - Support release management activities and ensure smooth production deployments
