Manager HW Design & Industrialization

12 to 15 years of experience in Electronics hardware design. Sound knowledge of the entire HW design lifecycle and Industrialization process flow. Able to handle the complete board design from requirements, design, prototype and validate the HW. Ability to architect and design different types of HW designs like high-speed processor based, FPGA based, low power supply, control and display electronics. Knowledge on Mechanical aspects for the HW and to work with mechanical designers. Experience in qualifying the HW for environmental and EMI/EMC conditions. Hands on experience in different types of design and simulation tools like Cadence/Mentor Graphics, pSpice, LTspice, Valor etc., Experience to provide adequate inputs/guidance to Layout Engineer and review the layout designs. Experience in board bring up and testing the HW against the requirement. Experience in handling different test equipment’s like Oscilloscope, power analyser, function generator etc., Experience in carrying different analysis like power, DC, AC, reliability, FMEA etc., Review the different design lifecycle artifacts generated by the team. Experience in error free transfer of the design data to the manufacturing team. Need to have a good network with various chip set providers.  

Must have: Experience in the complete HW design lifecycle and Industrialization. Industrial/Automotive domain knowledge.

Prefer to have: FPGA designs and simulation, Understanding of testing requirements for Design Validation and End of Line testing
