Manager - FS - Banking - Bangalore
Roles and responsibilities
•We are recruiting for a Manager in the Audit team. Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:
•Lead a team of graduates and qualified Executives, Seniors and AMs working on audits for the onshore.
•Managing international clients and leading the audits.
•Act as main point of contact for onshore departments. Build strong relationships with onshore department champions/other key contacts in the onshore.
•Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop business and grow the team.
•Make regular contact with onshore to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered.
•Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore.
•Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews.
•Work with L and D team to identify training needs.
•Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs.
•Demonstrate innovative mindset through use of various audit tools in order to deliver effective andefficient audits.
•Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts contributing to the overall business growth.
•Actively participate in team development activities like delivering technical training sessions, acting as the performance manager, mentoring the junior team members to support building most competent audit teams.
•Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.
•Coach AMs and TLs on performing reviews and developing their staff
•Motivate and develop AMs and TLs to become effective leaders.
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA) from recognized accounting body
•Additional certifications (if any)Minimum qualification required
Work experience
•5+ year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients.
•Experience in the Banking Sector is a must.
Mandatory technical and functional skills
•Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•In depth knowledge of external Audit for corporate and/or international clients.
•Sound working knowledge of auditing and accounting standards and Insurance and Financial sector will be an added advantage.
Preferred technical and functional skills
•Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage.
