We are seeking a Finance, Operations & Investment Lead to own the end-to-end coordination, control, and execution of finance operations across multiple global budgets within KPMG International.

This role ensures financial data integrity, operational consistency, and timely execution of all finance-related processes including invoicing, purchase orders, contract management, budget tracking, and member firm coordination. It also plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency through automation, AI-enabled workflows, and process optimisation, ensuring finance operations are scalable, accurate, and real-time where possible.

This individual will act as the primary operational interface between the delivery team and the Operations & Investment Lead, providing structured reporting, dashboards, and actionable insight to support tactical and strategic decision-making.

Lead day-to-day oversight and coordination of finance operations across multiple global budgets (without direct line management)Set standards and governance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and control of all financial inputs and reporting outputsMaintain live visibility of budget positions, commitments, and actuals; proactively flag risks, constraints, and exceptionsProvide oversight of invoicing, purchase orders, contract updates, and finance coding execution delivered by the offshore teamMonitor throughput and quality of offshore delivery (KDN) and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, controls, and timelinesAct as the operational interface between leadership stakeholders and the offshore team—translating priorities into clear work packagesOwn issue management: triage finance queries, remove blockers, and escalate decisions to leadership with options and impactsIdentify and drive automation opportunities using AI tools and workflow optimisation, partnering with delivery teams for implementationAlign finance operations processes with broader global transformation programmes and enforce process discipline to reduce manual effortEnsure strong controls, auditability, and governance across all financial workflows, including evidence and approvals

Stakeholder Management & Offshore Team Engagement

 

Build trusted relationships with leadership, programme leads, and member firms; act as the single finance operations point of contactCoordinate priorities, clarify requirements, and translate leadership direction into actionable instructions for the offshore (KDN) teamsFacilitate smooth information flow across Global and member firms to enable timely financial execution and reporting

Reporting, Performance Monitoring & Communications

Produce dashboards and senior-ready reporting that provide visibility into financial position, risks, controls, and delivery performanceMonitor delivery against yearly targets, budgets, and operating cadence; investigate variances and raise insights for senior reviewCoordinate and quality-check materials for leadership meetings, governance forums, and global communications, ensuring timely outputs

Standardise templates and reporting workflows; drive continuous improvement in governance, controls, and management

Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.8+ years of Senior-level experience in finance operations, programme finance, or large-scale operational deliveryStrong understanding of budget management, financial controls, and multi-entity environmentsExperience managing or coordinating offshore delivery teamsStrong Excel and data handling capability (reconciliation, structured reporting, financial tracking)Experience with ERP/finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)Ability to build or manage dashboards for senior stakeholder consumptionStrong process discipline and attention to detailExposure to automation or AI-enabled process improvement desirableStrong stakeholder management across global matrix organisationsAbility to translate operational detail into clear executive insight
