Job Description

A career within SAP Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximize the value of their SAP investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive consulting, system integration and implementation services across multiple SAP applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions

*Responsibilities: 

Design, develop, and implement SAP BDC programs to transfer large volumes of data from legacy/non-SAP systems into SAP.

Create and maintain recording sessions and batch input sessions.

Develop both call transaction programming and session method BDC programs as per business requirements.

Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and data requirements.

Analyze legacy data and map data fields to SAP structures for migration.

Test and troubleshoot BDC programs, ensuring accurate and error-free data uploads.

Monitor batch input sessions and resolve any errors during data uploading processes.

Provide post-migration support and assist in data validation activities.

Document technical specifications and user manuals for developed tools and procedures.

Support other SAP technical teams including ABAP developers and BASIS for integration and technical issues.

Keep abreast of new SAP technologies and recommend continuous improvement in data upload processes.

*Mandatory skill sets 

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP BDC programming.

Experience with SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or PP is a plus.

Strong understanding of SAP data migration concepts and tools.

*Preferred skill sets 

Experience with other data migration tools like LSMW, IDocs, or SAP Data Services.

Knowledge of SAP HANA or S/4HANA migrations.

SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules.
