Responsibilities:

A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations. They design, build, and automate CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production systems.

CI/CD Management: Design and maintain robust, automated continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using declarative tools.

System Reliability & Monitoring: Implement proactive logging, metrics, and alerting to maintain system uptime and application performance.

Containerization: Orchestrate and manage containerized workloads in production environments.

Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, access controls, and patch management across all environments.

Essential Skills & Tools

Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

IaC & Configuration: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Containers & Orchestration: Solid grasp of Docker and Kubernetes.

Scripting & Languages: Strong coding abilities in Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
