What would you do? Finance Transition Services (FTS) Specialist can expect to work on the following deal profiles: • Organic deals: o Large new contracts in start-up phase o Poorly performing financial contracts with enhanced complexity or risk o A short-term CFM Delivery role that fulfills a capacity or capability gap • Inorganic deals: o Finance integration activities on Ventures and Acquisitions / Divestitures Finance Transition Services involve managing the process of changing financial systems, processes, or structures within an organization. This includes planning, execution, and support during transitions such as mergers, acquisitions, or system upgrades. The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient transition with minimal disruption to operations. These services help maintain financial stability and compliance during periods of change. Effective transition management is crucial for achieving desired financial outcomes and organizational goals. Design and implementation of tools and processes which enable the client to perform financial analysis of its statements. Involves the ability to assess materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics utilizing financial ratios to determine the financial health of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities: Finance Transition Services (FTS) Specialist can expect to support senior team member and on less complex projects lead work efforts and change management in the following areas: • Individual contract and portfolios of contracts: o Gather and document business case assumptions. Establish workplan taking into account both Accenture standard requirements as well as contract specifics. o Design and setup appropriate hierarchy structure for contract in Accenture’s ERP o Implement standard Accenture digital financial tool-set o Design and establish project best practice financial processes including roles and responsibilities. o Support and advise deal leadership in negotiations, profitability recovery action plans, reporting to Accenture review boards. o Define ongoing finance support roles and responsibilities and ensure smooth handover and coaching from FTS. • Overall integration activities on Ventures and Acquisitions o Establish appropriate hierarchy structure for both contract and non-contract financials in Accenture’s ERP o Provide leadership in new business processes by developing and implementing sound pricing fundamentals for new and extended opportunities. o Perform or supervise preparation of program reporting as well as Accenture internal financial accounting processes o Manage corporate forecasting activities as defined by Accenture as well ad hoc and internal stakeholder management requests o Execute all global and local statutory, tax, Internal Controls, and US GAAP requirements as described by policy to ensure full compliance o Provide full management of P&L from revenue to operating income (including non-contract costs) o Ensure balance sheet accountability • Internal FTS initiatives o Processes and tools improvements, communication across team, people development
