Roles & responsibilities
We are looking for individuals with 4-10 years of FS consulting experience with the primary skill being Banking and FS Data
Base Requirements:
•Experience in banking and financial services, ideally in consulting-led transformation and change.
•Proven delivery across diverse client engagements; adaptable to new project types and domains.
•Experience working with US and UK stakeholders; effective across time zones and cultures.
•Ability to manage onshore stakeholder relationships and global projects, communicate with clarity and executive presence, facilitate workshops, and influence outcomes.
•Proficiency with analytics and automation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and programming/SQL (Python, SQL) is an advantage.
•Typical project scopes include (but not limited to):
•Process design and optimization including regulatory processes, operational excellence & transformation across the value chain – front office, middle office and back office
•Design and implementation of target operating model transformations (systems, processes, controls etc.)
•Data governance, data lineage, data testing, subledger accounting data, loan and credit card data models etc.
•Technology enabled digital transformation
•Regulatory transformations e.g. IFRS 17, Basel III
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel models to support finance calculators and analytical use cases.
•Collaborate with Engineering teams to analyze monthly statement runs, identify anomalies, and perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) on failed or inaccurate outputs.
•Query and analyze data from enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) to derive insights and meet business requirements.
•Conduct data profiling to understand source structures, metadata, mappings, and transformation logic; identify data quality and coverage gaps.
•Define and execute data validation and testing strategies across the data lifecycle, including source‑to‑target reconciliation and UAT support.
•Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering data sources, transformations, technical specifications, and business rules to support governance, audit, and knowledge transfer.
•Support data aggregation and analysis to build business cases and management insights.
•Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders and support project management activities, including progress tracking and milestone management, to ensure timely delivery.
Educational qualifications & Work Experience
•MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institution or professional qualification such as CA / CFA
•Industry recognized certification in Financial Services Sector
•Overall experience of about 4 – 10 years in data, analytics, or finance roles within banking or financial services
•Aspiration to work in a challenging environment offering continuous learning of FS businesses.
•Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, platforms, and APIs.
