Role: Associate Architect - Data Platform (SAP Expert)

Experience Level: 8+ Years 

Work location: Mumbai, Bangalore & Trivandrum 

Notice Period: 0- 15 days

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Design the connectivity layer between Azure AI agents and SAP systems (S/4HANA or ECC) using SAP BTP and OData services.

• Develop data mapping schemas to translate unstructured LLM outputs into structured SAP table entries 

• Architect secure data integration mechanisms, including alternate bulk-data extraction methods where APIs are unavailable.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency during autonomous "write-back" operations into SAP.

• Develop Data Dictionaries and metadata documentation to support LLM understanding of enterprise data structures.

• Establish data masking and PII identification protocols for sensitive enterprise information.

• Implement enterprise-grade security for all agent-to-SAP traffic, utilizing Azure API Management and Entra ID for secure, keyless authentication.

• Build secure interfaces to connect agents with external Vendor Portals and third-party tools, ensuring seamless data flow for delivery tracking and status.

• Optimize model latency and token consumption to ensure scalable and cost-effective deployments.

Skills expectation: 

• Deep expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Gateway, and OData service development.

• Strong understanding of SAP modules (MM, FI, or PM) and their underlying table structures.

• Experience with enterprise data integration tools (e.g., SAP Data Intelligence, Azure Data Factory).

• Knowledge of data security policies and PII handling in an SAP context.

• Ability to create detailed architectural diagrams for cross-platform data flows.

• Proven experience connecting SAP with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) using middleware like Azure Logic Apps or SAP Cloud Integration.

• Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and securing them with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols.

• Ability to design "Atomic Transactions" and "Human-in-the-Loop" fallback triggers for high-risk system updates.

•  Familiarity with web-scraping frameworks (e.g., Playwright) or headless browser integrations for portals lacking native API support.
