We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing SAP landscapes across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, Solution Manager, and SAP HANA environments. Experience with cloud platforms and SAP Basis support in complex enterprise environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAP landscapes.
Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and patch management activities.
Manage SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and SAP HANA databases.
Monitor system health, performance, job scheduling, and system availability.
Perform system performance analysis and tuning to ensure optimal performance.
Manage SAP transports and change management activities across environments.
Execute SAP upgrades, migrations, and enhancement package implementations.
Administer SAP HANA databases including backup, recovery, and monitoring.
Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager and system monitoring tools.
Work on high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Troubleshoot SAP Basis, database, and operating system-related issues.
Support SAP Security teams in user administration, system security, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, network, and application teams for project delivery.
Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Participate in implementation, rollout, migration, and AMS support projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–8 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
Strong expertise in:
- SAP ECC
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP BW/BW4HANA
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP NetWeaver
Experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
Hands-on experience in:
- SAP Installation & Configuration
- System Copies
- Kernel Upgrades
- Support Package Implementation
- Performance Tuning
- Transport Management
Strong knowledge of SAP Landscape Management and System Monitoring.
Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
Understanding of operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
Knowledge of database administration concepts (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
Experience in SAP upgrade and migration projects.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SAP S/4HANA Conversion or Greenfield Implementation projects.
SAP Basis or SAP HANA Administration Certification.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Knowledge of SAP Focused Run and automation tools.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP-hosted SAP systems.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.
Exposure to SAP Fiori Administration and SAP Gateway.
Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
