Assitant Manager - Contracting & Ops Role

Contract Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle including intake validation, demand creation drafting, review, approvals, execution, extensions, renewals, change orders, and contract close-out.
  • Ensure contracts are prepared using KDN Advisory risk-approved templates and are compliant with commercial, engagement, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with QRM, Risk, Legal, Engagement Leads, and Member Firms to obtain approvals within defined SLAs.
  • Oversee contractual record management by ensuring real-time updates to trackers and relevant tools. Confirm that all systems are maintained accurately and remain current at all times and ensure audit readiness.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex contractual issues, amendments, and turnaround time risks.
  • Supporting Ad-hoc requests for contracting data and manage multiple contracts request simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Engagement Leads, Member Firms, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and quality review support to team members.
  • Support leadership with reporting, insights, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple high-priority requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Operational & Business Support

  • Manage accounts payable process, vendor onboarding, invoice validation and approvals, vendor invoice processing, accruals, and financial coordination with Finance teams.
  • Manager Code & cost centers process, update to finance on MI process, OPE reclass and maintain invoicing data ensure requests are aligned to finance requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable process, invoice validation and coordinate with AR team to resolve AR disputes and collections

 

Others:

  • Complying with the applicable KPMG Risk Management policies

Essential skills required:

  • 6–8 years of experience in contract management, operations, or professional services support roles.

  • Strong understanding of contracting workflows, invoice processing, and operational controls 

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Ms Outlook)

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education / professional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance or a similar discipline
