Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a keen eye for detail to support complex software ecosystems effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks to prevent service disruptions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to cloud-based applications and services.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools within cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
