Position: Wildlife & Ecology Research and Content Creator

Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, presentable, creative and enthusiastic professional with a strong interest in wildlife, ecology, environment, nature and digital media.

The candidate will travel to forests, wildlife habitats and environmental project sites, participate in wildlife and ecological research activities, document fieldwork through photographs and videos, and create engaging and scientifically accurate content for Instagram and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

Wildlife & Ecology Research

• Assist in wildlife, biodiversity and ecological field surveys.

• Conduct field observations and collect wildlife and ecological data.

• Assist with species identification, habitat assessment and documentation.

• Conduct literature reviews and basic research on wildlife, ecology and conservation.

• Maintain field notes, photographs, GPS records and survey data.

• Assist in preparing technical reports, research notes and presentations.

Field Travel & Documentation

• Travel frequently to forests, wildlife areas and remote project locations.

• Participate in field surveys and environmental investigations.

• Document wildlife, habitats, biodiversity and project activities through photographs and videos.

• Work comfortably in outdoor and challenging field conditions.

Video & Content Creation

• Create informative and engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and YouTube videos.

• Produce videos explaining wildlife, ecology, environmental issues and field research.

• Appear on camera and confidently communicate information to viewers.

• Conduct interviews with researchers, experts and field staff.

• Create voiceovers and presentations in clear, fluent English.

• Edit videos using applications.

Social Media

• Manage and regularly update Instagram and YouTube.

• Prepare captions, scripts, descriptions and educational content in English.

• Develop creative content ideas based on fieldwork and research.

• Maintain a consistent social media content calendar.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Female candidate preferred.

• Qualification in Wildlife Biology, Zoology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, Life Sciences, Biodiversity Conservation or a related field.

• Good understanding of wildlife and ecological research.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Confident and comfortable appearing in videos and speaking on camera.

• Pleasant and professional on-camera presence with good facial expressions and natural communication style.

• Good confidence and presentation skills.

• Professionally presentable.

• Good communication skills.

• Creative and enthusiastic about photography, videography and storytelling.

• Basic to good video-editing skills.

• Good knowledge of Instagram and YouTube.

• Willing to travel frequently to forests, wildlife areas and remote project sites.

• Comfortable working outdoors and participating in field research.

• Candidates with experience in wildlife research, environmental consultancy, documentary making, photography, videography or science communication will be preferred.
