Job SummaryA Caregiver at SVT Home Healthcare Services is responsible for providing compassionate, safe, and professional care to patients in their homes. The caregiver assists with daily living activities, maintains hygiene, supports mobility, and ensures the patient's comfort and well-being while following the instructions of the family and healthcare professionals.

• Key Responsibilities1. Personal CareAssist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Help with toileting, diaper changing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Ensure the patient remains clean, comfortable, and dignified.
• 2. Mobility AssistanceAssist patients with walking, transferring from bed to chair, and repositioning.
• Help prevent bed sores by changing positions regularly.
• Support patients during physiotherapy exercises as instructed.
• 3. Feeding & NutritionPrepare or assist with meals according to the patient's dietary requirements.
• Help patients eat and drink safely.
• Monitor food and fluid intake.
• 4. Medication SupportRemind patients to take medications on time.
• Follow medication schedules as instructed by the family or healthcare professionals.
• Never administer injections or medications without authorization.
• 5. Patient MonitoringObserve changes in the patient's condition.
• Report fever, pain, breathing difficulties, falls, or unusual behavior immediately to the family and SVT Home Healthcare Services.
• Record basic observations if instructed.
• 6. Hygiene & EnvironmentKeep the patient's room clean and organized.
• Change bed linens when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient care equipment.
• 7. Emotional SupportCommunicate respectfully and patiently.
• Encourage conversation and provide companionship.
• Support patients with empathy and dignity.
• 8. SafetyFollow infection control practices and hand hygiene.
• Maintain a safe environment to prevent falls and injuries.
• Handle patients carefully using proper lifting techniques.
• 9. DocumentationMaintain daily care records if required.
• Report duty updates to the coordinator.
• Inform the office immediately about any emergency or concern.
• Professional ResponsibilitiesArrive on duty on time.
• Wear a clean uniform and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Carry a valid ID card during duty.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow company policies and client instructions.
• Treat patients and family members with respect.
• Avoid personal phone use during working hours except for emergencies.
• Never leave the duty location without approval from the family and SVT Home Healthcare Services.

• 24-Hour Live-in Care
