VMC Programmer

Excellent knowledge & Experience in VMC Programming of machine parts

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Set Up: Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/CAM) for VMCs, create tool paths, and select tools/fixtures.

Machine Operation: Set up machines, load programs, adjust speeds/feeds, monitor production, and run first-off parts.

Quality Control-Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, etc., ensuring they meet print specifications.

Process Improvement: Analyze operations, reduce cycle times, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall efficiency.

Coordination-Work with engineers and machinists to resolve technical problems and optimize processes.

Maintenance: Perform routine machine upkeep and maintain a clean work Area.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens), CAM software (PowerMill), blueprint reading (GD&T), and using precision measurement tools.

Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, safety focus, and communication.

Hands-on experience operating and programming VMCs is crucial. 

Good time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
