Machine Operator - Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing

ROLE OVERVIEWMSA Global Technology & Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is seeking skilled and disciplined CNC Machine Operators to support precision machining operations for aerospace and defence components. The role is responsible for operating CNC machines safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, process instructions, quality requirements, and AS9100 Rev D standards.

The position requires a strong focus on quality, productivity, safety, and adherence to manufacturing processes in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCNC

Machine Operations• Operate CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, and 3 & 5-Axis machines as assigned

• Load and unload components, fixtures, and tooling as per approved work instructions

• Follow process sheets, route cards, setup instructions, and manufacturing documentation

• Perform machine operations in accordance with approved production plans and schedules

• Ensure correct tools, offsets, and programs are used during production

Production & Quality• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final checks as instructed

• Measure components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and other measuring instruments

• Ensure components meet drawing specifications and quality requirements

• Immediately report dimensional deviations, machine issues, or quality concerns to supervisors

• Maintain traceability and identification of components throughout production

Safety & Housekeeping• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and EHS guidelines

• Support fire safety, emergency response, and safe work practices

• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at the workstation and surrounding areas

• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, gauges, fixtures, and components

Documentation & Compliance• Complete production records, route cards, job cards, and machine logbooks accurately

• Support AS9100 Rev D quality system requirements and documentation control procedures

• Comply with Company policies, information security requirements, and customer-specific requirements

Continuous Improvement• Support productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives

• Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities

• Suggest improvements related to safety, quality, productivity, and process efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS•10-12th Pass/ ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, Fitter, or related trade

• CNC Machine Operator certification preferred

EXPERIENCE• 1 -5 years of CNC machine operating experience in manufacturing environments

• Aerospace, defence, automotive, precision engineering, or machine shop experience preferred
