Role SummaryThe Unit Chef will oversee food preparation activities at third-party kitchens and ensure dishes are prepared as per approved recipes, SOPs, hygiene standards, and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities·      

Monitor daily food preparation activities at the assigned third-party kitchen.

·      Ensure dishes are prepared as per standardized recipes and approved menu specifications.

·      Conduct regular taste and quality checks before dispatch.

·      Verify portion sizes and packing quantities to maintain consistency.

·      Ensure all kitchen SOPs are strictly followed during preparation and packing.

·      Monitor kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.

·      Train line chefs and kitchen staff on menu preparation and cooking standards.

·      Take corrective actions based on operational and customer feedback.

·      Coordinate with operations and vendor kitchen teams for smooth functioning.

Required Skills &

Qualifications·      

Thorough understanding of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.

·      Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.

·      Good communication and team management skills.

·      Knowledge of local language will be an added advantage.

·      Ability to travel between kitchen locations.

Additional Requirements·      

Two-wheeler is mandatory for mobility between kitchen locations.

·      Valid driving license preferred.
