Job Title: Test Driver – Heavy Commercial Vehicles

Location: Adugodi, Bengaluru

Experience: 3+ Years

Language Requirement: Kannada Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and evaluate heavy commercial vehicles on test tracks, public roads, and designated testing routes.
• Conduct vehicle performance, durability, reliability, and validation tests as per test plans.
• Identify and report vehicle issues, abnormalities, and performance concerns during testing.
• Maintain detailed test logs and provide accurate feedback to engineering and testing teams.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company safety standards.
• Support data collection activities during vehicle testing programs.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians for test execution and troubleshooting.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for testing activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience driving and testing Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs).
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
• Good understanding of vehicle systems, components, and driving dynamics.
• Ability to identify and communicate vehicle performance issues effectively.
• Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of test procedures and documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on testing schedules.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational guidelines.
• Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with OEMs, automotive testing, or vehicle validation projects.
• Familiarity with automotive testing standards and reporting processes.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining test records and reports.

Education:

• Minimum 10th/12th Pass (Diploma preferred).
