Telesales Executive

We are introducing our ed-tech platform across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and rural India. As a Telesales Executive, you will be the first point of contact — reaching out to colleges to onboard them as institutional partners and calling prospective students to explain our courses and drive enrollments. This role is ideal for someone with great communication skills, a passion for education, and the drive to hit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make 80–100 outbound calls per day across college and student segments
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM tool
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly enrollment and partnership targets
• Share feedback from field conversations to improve scripts and strategies
• Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication in English
• Confident and persuasive phone manner
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
• Basic computer skills — CRM, spreadsheets, email
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Good listening and problem-solving skills

Good to have

• Proficiency in Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu — strong advantage for reaching regional markets
• Prior experience in telesales, telecalling, or inside sales
• Familiarity with ed-tech or education sector
• Experience handling both B2B and B2C calls
• Knowledge of Tier 2/3 city college ecosystems
