Role SummaryThe Team Lead – Store Operations is responsible for supervising daily store activities, managing store associates, and ensuring smooth execution of retail operations. The role focuses on driving sales, maintaining high customer service standards, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving business targets.

• Key Responsibilities1. Team ManagementSupervise and guide store associates on daily tasks and responsibilities
• Allocate shifts, duties, and ensure proper manpower utilization
• Train new employees on store processes, billing, and customer service standards
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback
• 2. Store OperationsEnsure smooth store opening and closing activities
• Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and product displays
• Monitor stock levels, replenishment, and shelf availability
• Support inventory management, stock audits, and shrinkage control
• 3. Sales & Customer ServiceDrive daily sales targets and upselling of organic products
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations effectively
• Ensure excellent in-store customer experience at all times
• Promote offers, new products, and seasonal campaigns
• 4. Billing & Cash HandlingSupervise billing counters and ensure accurate transactions
• Manage daily cash reconciliation and POS systems
• Ensure compliance with billing and payment procedures
• 5. Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards
• Maintain daily reports (sales, attendance, stock issues)
• Report operational challenges to Store Manager
• Key Skills RequiredStrong leadership and team handling skills
• Good communication and customer engagement ability
• Knowledge of retail store operations
• Basic understanding of inventory and billing systems
• Problem-solving and decision-making capability
• QualificationsAny Graduate (preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in retail (supermarket/FMCG preferred)
• Preferred ExperienceExperience in grocery / organic retail stores
• Prior experience as Senior Associate / Supervisor / Team Lead
