Team Lead – Cost Management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage cost management activities across multiple projects.

• Oversee and review quantity take-off for civil, finishes, MEP and landscape.

• Review and validate site BBS, running bills and payments.

• Preparation and approval of work orders, variation statements and final accounts.

• Rate analysis for all items with exposure to current market rates.

• Ensure compliance with IS 1200 code and company standards.

• Prepare and present cost reports, cash flow and anticipated cost reports.

• Guide, mentor and develop the cost management team.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients and project teams.

IMPLEMENTATION OF PROCESS

• Develop and implement cost management processes, templates and checklists.

• Standardize quantity take-off, BBS checking, bill validation and variation assessment procedures.

• Ensure adherence to company QA/QC and document control systems.

• Drive use of cost databases, market rate updates and benchmarking.

• Monitor and improve efficiency through digital tools (Excel, Costing software / ERP / SharePoint processes).

• Train and support team on best practices and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.E. (Civil) or Diploma (Civil).

Relevant certification in cost management is an added advantage.
