Job Summary A High School Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to students in grades 9–12. The teacher fosters academic growth, critical thinking, and personal development while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Deliver effective classroom instruction using various teaching methods and technologies.
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and grades.
• Create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote student discipline.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
• Prepare students for board examinations and higher education opportunities.
• Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in the relevant subject area.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Valid teaching certification/license (as required by local regulations).
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
• Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in the relevant subject.
• Previous teaching experience in a high school setting.
