Structural Engineer

1. Structural Design & AnalysisDesign structural systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

• Perform structural calculations and analysis for buildings, foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and retaining structures.
• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards, local building codes, and client requirements.

2. Project Planning & CoordinationCoordinate with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and contractors.

• Review architectural drawings and provide structural solutions.
• Participate in project planning meetings and technical discussions.
• Assist in preparing project schedules and budgets.

3. Site Inspection & SupervisionConduct site visits to verify construction quality and compliance with approved drawings.

• Monitor structural works such as reinforcement, concreting, and steel erection.
• Identify and resolve structural issues during construction.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

4. Technical DocumentationPrepare and review structural design calculations.

• Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) related to structural works.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.

5. Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with IS Codes, NBC guidelines, and local regulations.

• Conduct structural assessments and audits when required.
• Verify material quality and testing reports.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Risk Assessment & Problem SolvingEvaluate potential structural risks and recommend mitigation measures.

• Investigate structural defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for renovation, retrofitting, and strengthening projects.

7. Client & Stakeholder ManagementCommunicate project progress and technical updates to clients.

• Present design concepts and engineering solutions.
• Address client queries and provide technical clarifications.
