Store Operation & Sales Executive

We are looking for a Store Operations & Sales Executive to join our lighting retail store in Bangalore.

This is a hybrid role involving store operations, customer coordination and sales support. The ideal candidate should be highly organised, responsible and good at following up with customers, vendors and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

* Track customer orders from booking to delivery.

* Coordinate with vendors and follow up on pending/delayed orders.

* Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries.

* Coordinate with Porter/courier partners and track deliveries until completion.

* Maintain records of all repairs received at the store.

* Coordinate repair work with electricians and vendors and follow up until the repair is completed.

* Schedule site visits when required.

* Keep customers updated about delivery and repair status.

* Ensure that no order, delivery or repair is forgotten or left without follow-up.

* Maintain a simple daily operations tracker and highlight overdue items.

Sales Support

* Assist customers during busy periods and help with basic product enquiries.

* Prepare quotations and order details.

* Follow up with customers on pending quotations and enquiries.

* Assist the sales team with walk-in customers.

* Learn about our lighting products and gradually handle simple sales independently.

What We Are Looking For

* 1–3 years of experience in retail, customer service, sales coordination, operations, logistics or a similar role.

* Excellent follow-up skills and attention to detail.

* Comfortable speaking with customers, vendors and delivery partners over phone and WhatsApp.

* Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and smartphones.

* Ability to organise multiple tasks and remember deadlines.

* Responsible and proactive — should not need constant reminders.

* Good communication and customer-handling skills.

* Willingness to learn about lighting products and sales.
