Spray Painter

Position Summary : A Spray Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints, coatings, or finishes using spray equipment. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to produce high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces such as metal, wood, plastic, or automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as needed
• Mix paints, coatings, and finishes according to specifications
• Operate spray guns, paint booths, and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply coatings evenly to achieve desired color, texture, and finish quality
• Inspect finished work for defects and perform touch-ups or rework if required
• Maintain equipment by cleaning spray guns, hoses, and booths after use
• Follow safety procedures, including proper ventilation, PPE use, and hazard handling
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or technical specifications
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Document materials used and work completed as required
