Job Summary

The Site Engineer – Interior will be responsible for supervising and executing interior fit-out projects at site locations. The role involves coordinating with designers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and timelines.

The ideal candidate should possess basic technical knowledge of interior execution, strong coordination skills, and a willingness to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Monitor site progress and maintain work quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution-related issues.
• Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other site workers.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
• Maintain effective communication between the site team and management.
• Attend client meetings and provide project updates whenever required.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project requirements.
• Conduct regular quality checks during installation and finishing stages.
• Monitor adherence to site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

4. Material & Resource Management

• Verify materials received at the site before installation.
• Maintain records of materials received, consumed, and pending.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources to avoid wastage.
• Coordinate with procurement teams regarding material requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily site progress reports and work updates.
• Maintain records of site measurements, quality checklists, and work schedules.
• Report project delays, technical issues, and site challenges to the management.
• Assist in project handover documentation and final inspections.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Experience

• 0 – 1 year of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with MS Office and project coordination tools.
• Understanding of interior materials and site execution processes.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel to project sites across Bangalore if required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
• Two-Wheeler is Mandatory.
