Senior Accountant

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and handle TDS deductions, payments & quarterly returns
• Perform vendor reconciliation, resolve ledger discrepancies, and manage accounts payable
• Maintain inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; assist in costing and variance analysis
• Process monthly payroll with accurate PF, ESI, and PT deductions in coordination with HR
• Handle bank reconciliation, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare MIS reports, P&L schedules, and balance sheet summaries
• Support internal and statutory audits with documentation and query resolution
• File PF/ESI challans and maintain statutory contribution registers

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, vendor reconciliation, inventory accounting & payroll
• Proficient in Tally Prime and Odoo ERP (preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Working knowledge of GST portal, TRACES, and PF/ESI portal
• Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance
