• Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceGreet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers locate products and provide basic product information.
• Address customer queries and escalate concerns when required.
• Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Store OperationsStock shelves and ensure products are displayed according to merchandising standards.
• Monitor product availability and inform supervisors about low stock levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and aisles.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and arranging incoming stock.
• Billing & Cash HandlingSupport billing operations through POS systems.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Assist in daily cash reconciliation activities when required.
• Inventory ManagementParticipate in stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products, especially fresh and perishable items.
• Check product expiry dates and remove damaged or expired products from shelves.
• Compliance & SafetyAdhere to company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
• Ensure store displays and work areas are maintained safely.
• Qualifications & SkillsMinimum PUC/12th Pass or Graduate in any discipline.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail, supermarket, grocery, or FMCG stores.
• Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an added advantage.
