Job Title: Retail Sales Manager

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Classic Export Surplus and Discount Sale. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing both procurement and sales activities, with a strong emphasis on product and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating ownership and accountability for driving sales growth and managing procurement processes. Fluency in Kannada is required for effective communication with local stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

  - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

  - Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals to drive business growth.

  - Analyze sales data and market insights to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

 

2. Product and Technical Knowledge:

  - Possess a deep understanding of the products offered by Classic Export Surplus and Discount Sale, including their features, benefits, and technical specifications.

  - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

  - Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team to effectively communicate product value propositions to customers.

 

3. Team Management and Development:

  - Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure a high level of product knowledge and sales proficiency.

  - Set clear performance targets, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

  - Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and accountability.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Kannada and English languages.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

- Technical knowledge of retail products and trends.

- Leadership and team management experience.
