Job Summary

We are looking for a Recovery Executive responsible for following up with customers and recovering outstanding payments related to vehicle rentals, damages, fines, penalties, late returns, and other applicable charges.

The candidate should have strong follow-up, communication, negotiation, and collection skills and be comfortable handling customers over phone and WhatsApp.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers for pending and overdue payments.
• Recover outstanding rental amounts from customers within the agreed timelines.
• Collect payments related to:
• Pending rental charges
• Vehicle damage charges
• Late return charges
• Traffic fines and challans
• Fuel/charging charges
• Other applicable customer recoveries
• Make regular calls and send WhatsApp reminders to customers with pending amounts.
• Share payment links and ensure timely payment collection.
• Maintain a daily recovery tracker with customer-wise outstanding details.
• Follow up continuously until the outstanding amount is fully recovered.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Customer Support teams regarding recovery cases.
• Handle customer disputes related to recovery amounts and explain the charges clearly.
• Escalate difficult or long-pending recovery cases to the reporting manager.
• Maintain proper records of calls, commitments, payments, and follow-up status.
• Prepare daily and weekly recovery reports.
• Ensure all assigned recovery cases are followed up without delay.
• Meet monthly recovery targets set by the company.

• Monthly recovery amount

• Number of overdue cases closed
• Timely follow-up on outstanding accounts
• Reduction in ageing/outstanding amounts
• Number of successful payment commitments converted into actual payments
• Accuracy of recovery records and reports

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Good negotiation and convincing ability.
• Ability to handle difficult customer conversations professionally.
• Comfortable making frequent phone calls.
• Good WhatsApp communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.
• Target-oriented and persistent approach.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in collections, recovery, telecalling, customer follow-up, banking collections, vehicle rental, or a similar role.
• Freshers with excellent communication and strong follow-up skills may also be considered.

Important Requirement

The Recovery Executive is responsible for ensuring that all assigned outstanding amounts are followed up regularly and recovered within the required timeline, while maintaining professional communication with customers.
